Fantastic show again guys, really interesting stuff. I do have a VERY modest video game collection but I do always try and expand it. Pete you were saying at the end there that you hope to have inspired some people in this episode, well I was asking my parents about things and found out that a place where I live has a car boot (trunk to you American's) sale, basically people line up their cars and sell stuff out the back. I'll definately be checking this place out some time in the near future and I'll be sure to report back if I find anything haha.

Though I am not really a fan of flea markets, or shopping for that matter (a whole different story for another time), it was a nice change of pace. Unfortunately, it was extremely hard for me to hear one of the guests. I don't know if I am going deaf, but the guest's sound was not so good. Actually, the whole podcast seemed to be suffering from audio issues to some degree, at least compared to the other episodes. I understand the limitations with Skype and what not, but this episode seemed to really suffer from it. (Note: It could also be attributed to my lack of interest in flea markets and shopping 'in the wild') However, I know that this is bound to happen; everyone's connection is not the same. Yet, I still look forward to future episodes. Though I really didn't mind it before, the interrupting has greatly diminished, which probably makes a majority of your listeners happy. The Q&A segment at the end was quite nice.
***Warning Slight Tangent***
I have done long bouts of gaming, but never on MMOs. So, it is long but only for a week or so at the maximum. I still remember my 2 1/2 day grind playing Donkey Kong Country 3 and getting everything in the game, only to have my brother accidentally knocked over my SNES and erasing my data right as I was about to watch the last scene. As angry as I was, I knew if I had done it once, I could do it again. So, I promptly started over and a week later got everything and watched that last scene.

You guys talking about long hours of gaming totally reminded me of that time. Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to the next episode! Have a good day!

I'm really looking forward to listening to this episode later on tonight. I'm just a beginner collector and I know there is a lot I can learn from you guys as you are all very knowledgeable about collecting. Keep up the podcasts guys they are awesome.

Another most enjoyable podcast. Curious how many of you guys are out searching the yard sale scene this weekend?! Really liked the mmorpg talk as it seems like you each came at it from a different game but ended up in a similar place. Are you guys taking turns picking the guests and being a sort of lead host for the show? As that sort of seems to be the general format thus far. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to next weeks entry!

Peace,
~ Chris

As a video game collector i really enjoyed this one. My only suggestion for you guys is that you have less guests on the show, with that many people at once it tends to get confusing, maybe just stick with one guest at a time. Just a Suggestion :)

I've been collecting for 25 years and have been hardcore or a serious collector for about 10 of those 25. I just wanted to let you know I listened to the podcast and got motivated to go out in the wild and guess what? I hit big time at a garage sale. I snatched up 25 PS1 RPG's MINT for $2.50 each. A huge box, it must of been for an old air conditioner, for $20 bux full of complete Sega CD's which included Vay and Lunar Silver Star MINT even the discs where flawless. A rare Intellavoice Tron Solar Sailer. A Turbografx 16 Vasteel. Some uncommon Genesis games complete like Exile, Landstalker and Buck Rogers. I also got some Sega Master system games complete like Golden Axe Warrior, Phantasy Star and Y's. In total the box had about 70 games including 20 loose Intellivision games, 9 sega cd's complete, 20 Sega Master System games complete and about another 20 or so Genesis games complete and at worst a little dusty. The box also included an NES w/ 4 controllers, a boxed Power Glove, a 32X and numerous controllers like the Genesis Joystick and the big Saturn controller. It even had an old Intellivision system as well. I just want to thank you guy's because had I not listened I wouldn't of been on the hunt. It's my best haul ever and I got a RUSH I haven't had in a long time. The best videogame podcast bar none!! Thank you guy's and your great guests for that episode it really got me motivated to hunt more in the wild and now I have my very own story to tell.

I listen to that episode every time I go hunting in the wild to pump me up.

Thanks again keep it going.
